LILA Hindi software was the flagship product of LILA multimedia series of language learning packages.

Web-LILA (Learn Indian Languages through Artificial Intelligence) is a milestone in language learning that opens new vistas for netizens across the globe. Indbazaar.com and C-DAC are all set to launch the Web version of LILA-Hindi, which will evolve a new idiom of language learning on the net. Learning a language will be so much easier and so much exciting. And you need not attend classes or join a language course. A click of the mouse on the Internet will do the trick. This will add a new dimension to the concept of Indian language learning/teaching. It will make language learning more systematic and simpler. The Applied Artificial Intelligence Group of C-DAC had already developed the LILA-Hindi-Prabodh Compact Discs(CDs) which was launched by the Honourable President of India on September 14, 1999 to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Hindi as the official language of the country. The other two CD versions of the packages of LILA-Hindi-Praveen and Pragya are going to be launched soon. These projects were sponsored by Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs.

The online human teacher will be available to solve your problems, assess the evaluation and suggest the remedial actions. The test papers include normal objective type and fill-in-the-blank type of questions, as well as some descriptive questions also, which will be evaluated by the teacher whereby you get a virtual classroom simulation.
