Shri. R.K. Arora was awarded the Ratna Jyoti Award, which is presented to individuals in different disciplines, in recognition of their contribution in their field.

Shri. Arora received the award, consisting of a citation and a trophy, for his achievement in business development in the field of Advanced Computing, at the hands of the Honorable Minister of State for Science and Technology Shri. Bachi Singh Rawat.

The Ratna Jyoti Awards were presented at a seminar titled 'Individual Achievement and National Development' organized on November 25, 1999 in New Delhi by the Indian Institute of Economic Entrepreneur Council.
