SDK, ISM
and Ntrans
to develop Wings2000 for Indian languages. Wings2000
is a financial accounting package which converts,
shows and prints all invoices, vouchers, books
and relevant reports in a number of Indian languages
namely - Hindi, Marathi, Rajasthani, Gujarati,
Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Oriya, Bengali,
Punjabi and Assamese. This is comprehensive software,
with a powerful reporting mechanism.
GIST enabled
Wings2000 - the first accounting software, to
offer the ease of accounting in up to 12 Indian
languages. Wings, incorporates the unique WERI
(Write English Read Indian) technology, which
allows the user to enter transactions in English
(the easiest way to enter data) and view or print
books and reports in any or all of 12 Indian languages.
Accounting books
and reports can be generated in Hindi, Gujarati,
Rajasthani, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam,
Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese and Punjabi.
It is also possible to generate a report in a
different language in each column of the report.
Using Wings, it is also possible to maintain and
edit dictionaries to facilitate proper translation.
Wings Infonet
has translated a large number of commonly used
accounting and related words and phrases from
English into Hindi, Gujarati, Telugu and Tamil.
These translated phrases are now incorporated
in the Wings2000 Dictionary.

Customer Profile
In the late '80s,
two practicing chartered accountants began to
realize the painful truth about the accounting
software existing in the market. If the software
was easy to use, it was too simplistic for any
but the smallest of businesses. Alternatively,
if it had the features to meet realistic needs
- it required a doctorate in computer science
to use it! With the objective of overcoming such
shortcomings, Wings Infonet was set up in Hyderabad.
Over the years
the company has delivered more than 10 versions
of software, each, being superior to the previous
one.
