The scheme aims at building a close contact between an Affiliate and the CTSF. No commercial and/or proprietary rights over products, inventions, copyrights and patents arising from CTSF's work or that of its staff are conferred on the Affiliates. CTSF reserves the right to amend the Technical Affiliation Scheme fully or partially at any time. However, the Affiliates will be informed of any such changes.

C-DAC's Terascale Supercomputing Facility (CTSF) located at Knowledge Park, Bangalore is accessible by internal members of C-DAC from different groups at various centres of C-DAC, Pune in particular and external users. The aim of the guidelines is to enhance the productivity, improve the performance and increase the availability of the resources at CTSF.

The major resources available at CTSF are 54 nodes of P630 each with 4CPU and 1 node of P690 with 32 CPU. The interconnect for these nodes are ParamNet II and Gigabit Fast Ethernet networks. Additionally 6 file servers connected through Fiber Channel to 4.5TB of disk array are integrated to these compute nodes offer the storage space for high speed computation and reliable data throughput. The optimum performance on CTSF is obtained by running applications using installed parallel compilers, libraries along with the HPCC System Software components.

Maximum peak power of the cluster is ITF and sustained power on HPL benchmark is 532 GF. Performance on other benchmarks is given here for reference.
