01. Pune University Enterprise wide Networking, Pune
C-DAC has designed and implemented a state-of-the-art network for Pune University, over Fiber optic (7.5 kms Of Fiber) FDDI Backbone networks. All the departments of the University are connected to each other through this network.
02. Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow
C-DAC has implemented Campus Wide Network with FDDI backbone and Ethernet for workgroups. 300 nodes are connected over this network. This involves the complete computerization of the hospital. This project also involves the development of a Hospital Information System, real time application software.
03. Power System Monitoring - NRLDC, Delhi, ERLDC, Calcutta, PSEB, Patiala
C-DAC has implemented a state-of-the-art SCADA Real Time System project based on distributed computing over Dual Ethernet LANs at these Load Dispatch Centres. Special data concentrators developed by C-DAC are in operation to integrate data arriving from multiple vendor equipment with different protocols over DOT, PLCC and VSATs. Fault tolerant servers and LANs have been implemented for this critical application.
04. Pune NET (Library Net)
This Network is implemented for connecting the various libraries around Pune city, with the main University library as part of the Pune NET project.
05. Library Automation & Campus-wide Network at Shantiniketan, Calcutta
This Campus Wide Networking of Shantiniketan campus is implemented over 13 Kms. Diameter FDDI ring connecting 250 nodes.
06. Mahatama Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri
The network of Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth at Rahuri is implemented over Fiber Optic (2.5 kms of Fiber) network. All the departments of the University are connected to other through this network. This network is in turn connected to zonal stations, viz. Plain Zone, Pune; Scarcity zone, Solapur, Sub-montane zone, Kolhapur and Western Ghat zone, Igatpuri network.
07. Software Technology Park, Bangalore
ATM backbone network is implemented at STPI, Bangalore. Currently 500 nodes are connected to this network.
08. Software Technology Park, Noida
At STPI, Noida C-DAC is implementing ATM backbone to provide service to its clients over high-speed ATM network. Currently 100 nodes are planned to get the connectivity.
09. Department of Post, Delhi
125 nodes are connected over Fast Ethernet network. This network is linked to the regional offices at Guwahati and Shilong.
10. Panjab University, Chandigarh
C-DAC has implemented the one of the largest ATM installation at Panjab University, Chandigarh. ATM is installed as the campus backbone and the departments are connected over Ehternet and fast Ethernet. Currently 1200 nodes are connected over ATM.
11. Raman Research Institute, Bangalore
C-DAC has implemented high speed ATM backbone at RRI, Bangalore to give connectivity to 500 nodes.
12. University of Mysore
Recently C-DAC has implemented high speed ATM backbone in computerization of Mysore Unviersity. Currently 100 nodes are connected. It is planned to connect 500 nodes over all the departments in the University in future.
13. VRCE, Nagpur
This network connects 14 different departments across the campus through a FDDI dual loop based campus wide network. This network is implemented with Unix server, 3Com and Lucent Networking products.
14. MSSCL, Akola
This project involves computerization and networking of 6 cities. Involving LAN & WAN connectivity for more than 100 nodes.
15. PDKV, Akola
This is another agricultural University project implemented by C-DAC. This involves multi-site and multi-locational campus wide networking which integrates VSAT based internet connectivity. The key components of the network are Windows NT and Unix servers, Fibre cabling from BICC and 3Com Network components.
16. Wired Village Project, Warnanagar
A prestigious project by IT task force implemented through Maharashtra State Government, C-DAC has successfully completed the V-SAT connectivity through Windows NT server and CISCO router and LAN with 25 nodes.
17. DBATU, Lonere
A network based on UNIX, NT and Novell for more than 250 nodes. It has been implemented using Lucent, 3Com and BICC Networking components.
18. Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra
This is a prestigious networking project undertaken in the Education sector of Maharashtra. This multi-location LAN and WAN implementation is being executed at 6 premier colleges viz., Govt. College of Engineering - Pune, Karad, Aurangabad, Amravati, VJTI - Mumbai, SGGSCE & T - Nanded and DTE, Mumbai. The project comprises of supply and installation of 7 high end Compaq servers, about 7 kms of fibre and more than 1000 network points. Structured cabling from AMP and active components from 3Com have been used.
19. IAT, Pune
This is an ATM based network used for internet and intranet usage comprising more than 100 nodes and 2 kms of fiber. The ATM devices are from the world leaders in ATM technology i.e. Fore Systems. 3Com active components and BICC structured cabling have been used.
20. Office of Animal Husbandry, Government of Maharashtra
This is a 50 node network which has been implemented in the head office.
21. Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Parbhani
The network of Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth at Parbhani is implemented over Fiber Optic (2.0 kms of Fiber) network. All the departments of the University are connected to other through this network.
22. National Bureau of Fish Genetics, Lucknow
This is a campus Wide Network on Fast Ethernet , Fiber backbone comprises approximately 150 nodes implemented on BICC passive components and ATI active components
23. Center for eGovernance , Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, New Delhi
This is a pilot project for showcasing very high-end applications in the field of eGovernance . It is also a very prestigious installation and comprises of ATM backbone
24. Punjab Forestation Chandigarh
Work is in Progress for setting up a GIS lab, Products used are AMP and Intel
25. Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation Limited, Bangalore
Wide Area Networking including Computerization of six City Corporations in Karnataka, connecting around 17 locations
26. Electronics Research & Development center Thiruvananthapuram
ATM based LAN
27. Public Works Department, Mumbai
Wide Area Network connecting Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur region using Cisco Routers and Switches
