Due to the support of IT industry and the overwhelming response from the alumni of C-DAC, REWIND C-DAC, the first Alumni meet of C-DAC’s Advanced Computing Training School (ACTS) was held at Sadanand Resorts on 27th November 2010 with great fanfare. It was a mega reunion where the Alumni gathered to reminisce, network, get updated and reconnect with friends around the country and the world. The old batches of Alumni shared their corporate experiences with the latest batches and gave them important career tips.

The Meet was inaugurated with the video presentation on C-DAC and ACTS. The meet was presided over by Dr. P.K. Sinha, Senior Director (HPC), C-DAC, Pune. Along with him present on the dais were the Registrar, Shri. Uday Poharkar, Shri. Mahesh Kulkarni, Programme Co-ordinator, GIST, C-DAC and Shri. Aditya Sinha, Team Co-ordinator, ACTS, C-DAC, Pune.

On intervals, the PARADIGM ROCK BAND entertained the alumni and made this event more colourful. An opportunity was also given to every alumnus to share his/her experience with C-DAC, and its impact on their career. Some of them reminisced about their stay at C-DAC. All the participants opined that the alumni could play an active role in the growth and development of C-DAC and also pledged their active support for the same.
