Workshop & Training

The prime focus of this workshop is to train scientists and engineers in solving their own problems through several case studies. Issues related to geometry modeling, mesh generation, setting up simulation and post-processing will be highlighted for live industrial problems using CFD software CFDExpert™ (developed by Zeus Numerix), which is a UNIX based professional CFD modeling software built to carry out end-to-end flow simulations. It can create/repair geometry, generate grids, execute various types of solvers and also carry out post processing of results. A time bound (3 month duration) evaluation copy of CFDExpert™ will be made available to each participant. Moreover the computing power of PARAM Padma located at C-DAC Bangalore will be made available after signing the Technical Affiliation Scheme of C-DAC's Tera-Scale Supercomputing Facility.

Target Audience

The course is aimed at training engineers and scientists in Aerospace Laboratories / Agencies / Industries, who wish to include CFD as a tool in their design and analysis
cycles on routine basis.
