workshop begins with the basics of Solaris System
Administration. Using PowerPoint presentations
to reinforce the basic concepts of the Solaris
System Administration. It includes, Unix commands,
Vi editor, Solstice Adminsuite, Disk Management,
Printer & Modem configuration, Networking, Network
File System (NFS) and advance Auto File System.
It includes, NFS, NIS, NIS+, DNS, DHCP, Shell
Programming, RAID Fundamentals Veritas Volume
Manager Concepts, Apache Web Server, Squid Proxy
Server, Sendmail Server, Sun Compiler Installation
& Licensing, Jumpstart Configuration, Live case
studies and Trouble shooting.
Prerequisite:
Basic knowledge
of Operating System. Candidates who are seriously
inclined towards UNIX systems administration would
benefit from the workshop.
