In this finance budget for year 2006-07, certain changes in Excise tariff structure for our products has come into existence. As per Excise Notification No. 6/2006 of Central Excise dtd.1.3.2006, our package software product now attracts Excise Duty @ 8% ( 8 percent) plus (+) Educational Cess @ 2% on Excise duty amount with effect from 1.3.2006.
Excise Duty @ 16% & Sales Tax @ 10% is applicable on hardware products.
Updates will be available free for a period of one year, thereafter it will be available at nominal cost.
Installation and training, if required, will be charged extra.
