The challenges of the
IT industry and the accelerating pace of developments
have spurred C-DAC to further enhance its performance
on all fronts. Despite the critical phase the IT industry
finds itself in, C-DAC has managed to grow at a steady
pace, doubling its turnover from 38.24 crores in 1998-99
to 79.06 crores in 1999-2000 and has carved a niche
for itself in several high technology areas. Our attrition
rate remains at around 14% p.a., which is by large in
line with the current industry norms.
