Multimedia
Rendering of Dnyaneshwari and Bhagavad-Gita:
The Dnyaneshwari
is one of the most profound commentaries on the Bhagavad-Gita
written in Prakrit Marathi, an old form of Marathi,
by Sant Dnyaneshwar. As part of the Digital Library
project for Indian Heritage, C-DAC is evolving a software
framework for hosting Saint Literature. The Web version
of Dnyaneshwari is the first step in this direction.
At C-DAC's National Multimedia Resource Centre (NMRC),
Dnyaneshwari and Bhagavad-Gita are being rendered
and presented using multimedia and web technologies.
The Bhagavad-Gita and Dnyaneshwari have been translated
in Marathi.
