is the challenge" is how Dr. R.A. Mashelkar, Director-General, CSIR,
likes to put it, while handing over the CSI-Nihilent
eGovernance Award 2003-04 on Monday.
Maharashtra was adjudged
the best eGoverned State (Advanced) and Haryana the best
eGoverned State (Young).
The Centre for Development
of Advanced Computing (C-DAC)
was declared the best technical company in eGovernance.
The best eGovernance Project award went to the CARD project
in Haryana while the Voice project Vijayawada and the Ekal
Sewa Kendra (Haryana) were the first and second runner-ups
respectively.
