The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IT Microsystems (India) Ltd. to offer its flagship course 'Diploma in Advanced Computing' (DAC) in the United Arab Emirates, New Zealand and the USA.

As per the MoU, IT Microsystems will set-up and run C-DAC ATCs (Authorized Training Centres) in New York, Auckland and Dubai. These ATCs will provide state-of-the-art training facilities and offer C-DAC's advanced IT courses. The ATC's will be equipped with lecture halls, libraries, computer laboratories and various other amenities.

According to Shri. R.K. Arora, Executive Director, C-DAC, "With this agreement, C-DAC's Advanced Computing Training initiative is on course to achieve global presence and recognition."

Diverse courses offered by Advanced Computing Training School (ACTS) include Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Computing (DAC) and Diploma in Advanced Computer Arts (DAC). New courses in the area of Geomatics, Enterprise System Management (ESM) and Embedded Systems Design are also being offered. ACTS also conducts specially designed courses for corporate bodies.

These courses are offered through a network of more than 100 ATCs in India, besides C-DAC's own centers in Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore.
