Centre
for Development of Advanced Computing
(C-DAC)
recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
with IT Microsystems (India) Limited to offer its flagship
course Diploma in Advanced Computing (DAC)
in the United Arab Emirates, New Zealand and the USA.
As per the MoU,
IT Microsystems (India) Ltd., a subsidiary of Panoramic
Group of Companies, India, will set-up and run C-DAC
ATCs in New York, Auckland and Dubai. These ATCs will
provide state-of-the-art training facilities and offer
the C-DAC benchmarked advanced IT courses. The ATCs
will be well equipped with lecture halls, libraries,
computer laboratories and various other amenities.
Capitalizing
on its goodwill and credibility in imparting world-class
training in Advanced IT, this initiative is a leap in
establishing C-DAC's training presence overseas.
According to
Shri. R.K. Arora Executive Director, C-DAC, "With
this agreement C-DAC's Advanced Computing Training initiative
is well on course to achieve a global presence and recognition.
The universal relevance and industrial application of
the IT courses offered by C-DAC has established it as
a premier advanced IT education and training major."
In India, C-DAC's
Advanced Computing Training School (ACTS)
is dedicated to creating premium-trained professionals
for the IT industry through the designing and delivering
of various courses. These courses are offered through
a network of more than 100 Authorized Training Centres
(ATCs) in India, besides C-DAC's own centers in Pune,
Delhi, Hyderabad & Bangalore.
The diverse courses
offered by ACTS, which are popular and most sought after
are Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Computing (DAC),
and Diploma in Advanced Computer Arts (DACA).
New courses in the area of Geomatics, Enterprise System
Management (ESM)
and Embedded
Systems Design are also being offered. ACTS also
conducts specially designed courses for corporate bodies.
Students passing
from these courses are employed with several Multinational
and premier Indian IT companies in India and abroad.
