(C-DAC) participated in the INTEX 2002, Indian Trade exhibition in Colombo, Sri Lanka during March 21-24, 2002. As part of the "Software & IT Training" pavilion organized at the Sri Lanka Exhibition and Convention Centre (SLECC), C-DAC showcased its expertise in IT Education, eGovernance Solutions and Language Technology.

The exhibition provided an opportunity to explore possibilities of exploiting the potential Sri Lankan market for IT education, eGovernance and Language Technology products. The C-DAC delegation interacted with several visitors and established contacts for exploring the possibilities of setting up Authorized Training Centres (ATC's) in Sri Lanka. C-DAC also gained substantial inputs on the prospects of imparting IT training to Sri Lankan Government employees.
