The Ambassador of France in India, His Excellency, Monsieur Claude Blanchemaison visited C-DAC recently and was accorded a warm welcome by the Executive Director Shri. R.K. Arora.

Monsieur Blanchemaison evinced keen interest in the various activities of C-DAC including the Hardware Laboratory, the GIST group, The National Multimedia Resource Centre (HCDC) and The National PARAM Supercomputing Facility (NPSF).

Monsieur Blanchemaison was taken on a tour of the National PARAM Supercomputing Facility (NPSF), and the PARAM 10000. Recording his observations in the Visitors book, Monsieur Blanchemaison remarked that C-DAC has developed "very impressive technology".
