C-DAC participates in 'BES Expo 2002' |

C-DAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing) is participating
in the 'BES (Broadcast Engineering Society) Expo 2002',
being held at Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi during February
14-16, 2002.
Stall No. A-4
& A-5 at the exhibition will showcase C-DAC's expertise
in the area of Broadcasting solutions and services.
On display will be
C-DAC's pioneering:
- LIPS Pro Advanced
Creation Station, a Windows based subtitle creation
suite that creates fused subtitles for video as well
as for DVD
- LIPS Decoder - used for decoding teletext based subtitles
- MultiPrompter Pro - Windows based, lightweight Multilingual
Teleprompter
- MOVE
CG 2001 - Multilingual character generator

will be C-DAC's Multilingual Advanced News Automation
System (MANAS)
C-DAC, the trailblazer
in High
Performance Parallel Computing and pioneer in the Multilingual
Technology has carved a niche for itself in Broadcasting
services and solutions, which facilitate speedy and
efficient broadcast program production.
C-DAC has secured
a contract for its LIPS Creation Station from Video
Visuals Ltd, Mauritius. ETV, Hyderabad has signed up
C-DAC for the MOVE
CG video system. C-DAC has also undertaken the setting
up of MANAS at Doordarshan.
