Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is organizing a two-day eGovernance road show on the November 26-27, 2001, with the objective of showcasing its expertise and strengths in eGovernance solutions and services.

Representatives of C-DAC's Authorized Training Centres (ATCs) from all over India and its Business Development Groups will attend the road show for acquainting & understanding these applications. The ATC's are being promoted to C-DAC's eGovernance applications more vigorously on a national level.

The road show thus sets to accomplish C-DAC's objective of effectively teaming up its training infrastructure with development marketing through the integration of its Business Development Groups with the ATCs.

The eGovernance services and solutions on display at the road show are Data Warehousing for Decision Support in Government, Works Management Suite, Hospital Information System (HIS), Stamps Registration Software, Land Management System, Municipal Corporations Operation Computerization, Document Management System, Archives Computerization, Personal Information Management System, Octroi Management, State Legislative Assembly/Council Operation Computerization, Telephone Revenue Billing, Integrated Electoral rolls for Election Commission, Laboratory Management & Automation System (LAMAS), Seed Processing Computerization, and Networking Enabling Enterprise-Wide Data Exchange.

C-DAC has developed and offered a range of these eGovernance solutions for the states of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat with a view to improve transparency, speedy information dissemination, higher administrative efficiency and improved public services in various sectors of Government including education, power, health, revenue, water, security and other municipal services. These cover computerization of Stamp & Registration, Archives, PWD (Works Management, Employees Information, Tender Management), Legislative Council/Assembly, Octroi, Municipal Corporations, and Decision Support Systems besides being a turnkey solution provider to some of the states.
