C-DAC's
National Multimedia Resource Centre (NMRC)
has organized an educational seminar from 10.00 a.m.
- 3.00 p.m. on December 23, 2001 at Dnyaneshwar Hall,
Pune University Campus.
The seminar focuses
on NMRC's Diploma in Advanced Computing Arts (DACA)
course. The seminar will provide information on multimedia
Technologies and its applications, career opportunities
and future prospects in multimedia, and multimedia education
offered by C-DAC. Entry for the seminar is free.
Experienced multimedia
professionals of C-DAC will conduct the seminar and
enlighten the participants on matters relating to multimedia.
C-DAC's NMRC
offers a wide range of professional multimedia based
products and services.
Activities of
NMRC include designing and developing multimedia based
presentations and CBT's, ready to use templates for
low cost multimedia products, repository of clipart,
motifs, and other ethnic multimedia components, rendering
of content related to Indian
Heritage, training programs and courses in Digital
multimedia.
NMRC is a harbor
of technical and creative expertise, tools and libraries,
training resource and multimedia reference archives.
It offers these resources for building Digital Libraries
in the country to various institutions.
NMRC has a mission
to propagate multimedia among the masses with a view
to developing diverse multimedia applications suited
to the Indian context. It offers Consultancy/Services
in the area of multimedia CD Title Creation, CBT Development,
Web Page Designing & Computer Animation.
