Air Chief Marshal A.Y. Tipnis, Chief of Air Staff visited C-DAC on Nov 18, '99. He was welcomed by Shri. R.K. Arora, Executive Director, who acquainted him with the activities and achievements of C-DAC.

Envisaging a keen interest in C-DAC, Air Chief Marshal Tipnis, expressed his desire to work together with C-DAC in areas of mutual advantage.

The Chief of Air Staff was on a visit to Pune to deliver the General B.C. Joshi Memorial Lecture at the University of Pune.
