Shri. R.K. Arora, Executive Director, presented the C-DAC rolling trophy for the 'Best Summer Project Presentation' at Aakar, a Symposium of Summer Projects, organized by the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management on November 14, 1999.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri. Arora, emphasized on the crucial role of HR, particularly in the IT industry. He observed that the IT sector is increasingly witnessing a turnover of IT professionals, who are looking to the West, particularly the US for more lucrative opportunities. In this context, he reiterated that a HR manager was faced with the challenge of checking this flow. Shri. Arora however emphasized, that India offered as many challenges and opportunities and cited the example of C-DAC, which was able to retain most of its skilled manpower.

Lauding the efforts of the institute, he stated that the C-DAC rolling trophy was a step in establishing a synergy between the IT professionals and HR trainers, which was mutually beneficial.
