Diploma In Advanced Computer Arts (DACA)

The advent of multimedia has had a profound impact on the various media services such as advertising, film production, etc. In the present scenario, commercial artists who are familiar with computing technology have a wide range of opportunities in these market segments. 

Computer Artists can offer consultancy services to architects, interior decorators for visualizing 3D architectures, textile industry, fashion designers, publishing industry, education and training industry, tourism development, industrial design. They can also provide visualization support to film-makers.

The internet and its diverse applications encompassing every field and aspect of life has created numerous opportunities for the Web Page Designers. Besides Software Development Organizations, the Computer Animation Industry is in great need of Computer Artists. 

The unique Diploma in Advanced Computer Arts is undoubtedly a boon to the requirement of all these industries.
  • 10+2, M.F.A., B.F.A.,B.Arch, G.D. Arts, Engineering, Science, Arts and Commerce stream or other equivalent degree or diploma holders in the field of Advertising, Commercial Arts, Painting, Sculpture, Textile, Fashion Designing, Interior Decoration OR
  • Students of 10 standard after completion of DDA are also eligible for the course. Students from other academic backgrounds having artistic inclination and creative abilities are also encouraged to do this course. But they must qualify through the Entrance Test. 
  • Applicants need to have basic Knowledge of using computers.
The total fees of the course is Rs. 70,000/- +Taxes (14% service tax + 0.5% Swachh Bharat cess + 0.5% Krishi Kalyan cess).

The course fees has to be paid in two installment as per the schedule.
  • First installment is Rs. 10,000/- +Taxes  (14% service tax + 0.5% Swachh Bharat cess + 0.5% Krishi Kalyan cess).
  • Second installment is Rs. 60,000/- + Taxes  (14% service tax + 0.5% Swachh Bharat cess + 0.5% Krishi Kalyan cess).

Q. What is the Eligibility for Diploma in Advanced Computing Arts (DACA)?  
A: The eligibility Criteria for DACA is candidate holding any one of the following degrees: 
  • 10+2, M.F.A., B.F.A.,B.Arch, G.D. Arts, Engineering, Science, Arts and Commerce stream or other equivalent degree or diploma holders in the field of Advertising, Commercial Arts, Painting, Sculpture, Textile, Fashion Designing, Interior Decoration      OR
  • Students of 10 standard after completion of DDA are also eligible for the course. Students from other academic backgrounds having artistic inclination and creative abilities are also encouraged to do this course. But they must qualify through the Entrance Test.

Q: What is the selection criterion?  
A: The selection process consists of a Common Entrance Test (CET) at local center. .

Q: What is Fee of course? 
A: The fees for the DACA course is Rs. 70,000/- (Rupees Seventy Thousand only) plus Service Tax, Swachh Bharat cess and Krishi Kalyan cess and other taxes of Government of India. 

Q: When the course does commence?  
A: Twice in a year in the month of August and February. Admission Process will start in month of May and November every year.

A: 24 weeks full-time course
