C-DAC Delhi successfully concluded Certificate Course in Information Security and Digital Forensics, organized under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Scheme of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India. The intensive training programme was conducted from July 06th to July17th, 2026 and brought together 15 participants from 15 countries: Cambodia, Palestine, Djibouti, Seychelles, Liberia, Kingdom of Eswatini, Malawi, Syria, Nepal, Lesotho, Costa Rica, Myanmar, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, and Sierra Leone.
To mark the successful completion of the programme and celebrate the achievements of the participants, a Valedictory Ceremony was held onJuly17th, 2026.
The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp and a rendition of Saraswati Vandana by Shri Jitendra Singh, Scientist G and Centre Head, C-DAC Delhi, Shri Vijay Kumar Kayat, Scientist E & ITEC Coordinator, ICD CDAC Delhi and Shri Jaibheem Gaikwad, Course Faculty & Project Manager, ICDC-DAC Delhi.
Shri Gaikwaddelivered the welcome address and extended a warm welcome to the senior officials of C-DAC, and ITEC participants attending the valedictory ceremony. He highlighted the successful completion of the two-week training programme and congratulated the participants for their active participation, dedication, and commitment throughout the course.
Shri Kayat delivered a presentation on ITEC, C-DAC, and its global footprints, highlighting its objectives, global outreach, and role in strengthening international partnerships through capacity building. He also showcased C-DAC's key areas of expertise, technological innovations, international collaborations, and its significant global footprint in establishing Centres of Excellence and delivering advanced ICT training programmes across partner countries.
Thereafter, Shri Gaikwad shared his experience of conducting the programme, appreciated the enthusiasm and dedication demonstrated by the participants, and presented a short memoir film capturing memorable moments from their stay at C-DAC, New Delhi, and their visit to India.
Participants during the Valedictory Ceremony shared their experience regarding acquiring new skills in Information Security & Digital Forensics, Indian culture, heritage tour to Delhi & Agra, hospitality, Indian food and appeared to be very satisfied and expressed their willingness to attend more such courses at C-DAC in India.
Shri Jitendra Singh delivered the address and urged the participants to serve as goodwill ambassadors of C-DAC by sharing information about the ITEC courses offered in India with their colleagues, friends and relatives. He appreciated the faculty for designing a comprehensive, well-structured and enriching course, and also commended the organising team at C-DAC, Delhi for their efforts in successfully conducting the programme.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of Course Completion Certificates and mementos to all participants by Shri Jitendra Singh and Shri Vijay Kumar Kayat. As part of the programme, the participants were also taken on a cultural and heritage tour of Delhi and Agra over the weekend, providing them an opportunity to experience India’s rich cultural heritage and historical landmarks.
