Regional Open Digital Health Summit (RODHS) 2025

Regional Open Digital Health Summit 2025 was held on November 19th - 21th, 2025 at New Delhi, marking a major milestone in strengthening digital health ecosystems across the WHO South-East Asia Region. Organised by the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), in collaboration with the National Health Authority (NHA), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), the World Health Organization - South-East Asia Regional Office (WHO-SEARO), and UNICEF, the three-day summit aimed to accelerate standardsbased digital health transformation and cooperation across the region.

Representing India's technical leadership in health informatics standards, experts from the National Resource Centre for EHR Standards (NRCeS), C-DAC Pune, were invited as speakers across important technical sessions to represent Indian side of activities and advances. Their presentations highlighted India's progress in adopting global standards, driving health data exchange through the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) and National Health Claim Exchange (NHCX) enabling interoperability.

The summit featured the following talks from the members of C-DAC:

The summit brought together around 200 participants including senior policymakers, technologists, innovators, development partners, and digital health experts from India and neighbouring countries such as Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Maladies, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc.

The sessions were well received and gave glimpses of India's leadership position in the digital healthcare domain in the world.
