Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is a Scientific Society of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. CDAC Centre in North East (CINE), Guwahati is seekingtechnical experts to work on Projects of National Importance. This offers an excellent platform towork in domains such as e-Governance, modern microservices-based applications, Health Informatics, Human Resource and Financial Management systems, among others.We seek bright, result-oriented technical experts for engagement on a purely Contractual Basis for the following positions.

Candidates are required to carry the duly filled application form affixed with latest passport size photograph, attested copies of documents such as proof of age, qualification, experience, caste, etc and reach the venue on the stipulated date. Candidates who reach the venue and register themselves from10am to 11am will be allowed to attend the interview.

All the above posts are purely on contract basis on consolidated emolument initially for a period of 03 (THREE) years or co-terminus with the project whichever is earlier. However, term of contract may be considered for extension for a further period based on performance of the incumbent and requirement of the project. However, C-DAC, Centre in North East (Guwahati) reserves the right to terminate the Contract even during the contract period or extended contract period without assigning any reason after giving 45 days prior notice, or salary in lieu thereof. The selected candidates will be eligible to apply for different/higher post, on contract on consolidated pay basis, against internal notifications issued from time to time. Job Profile
  • Network Troubleshooting LAN, Internet, and Intranet by coordination with the service provider. Call logging with the Service Provider in case of Internet failure and continuously monitoring the call till restoration of the Internet connectivity.
  • Monitoring the network performance and Securing the Network from outer threats. Firewall management & Security Policies review.
  • Configuration, troubleshooting and management of all network component. (Core Switches, Access Switches, Firewall etc.)
  • Configure NMS software to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling
  • Ensuring uptime and continuously reviewing of the Data Network
  • Protocol migration and Network management
  • Regular Backup of Configuration of all routers and switches
  • Wireless registration of devices, guest login management for wireless LAN
  • Traffic monitoring, performance analysis and fine tuning
  • Performing network repairs and upgrades wherever required
  • Maintaining the documentation of IP network, fiber status, various network configuration, Routers, Switches, Modems and all other Network components

Instruction to Candidates:-

Before appearing for the Walk-in interview, the Candidates should read "General Terms and Conditions"carefully.

General Terms and Conditions

  1. Terms of Engagement:
    1. The positions/requirements are purely on a contract basis on consolidated emoluments, initially for up to 3 years or completion of the project, whichever is earlier. The selected candidates may be assigned to another project based on organizational requirements.
    2. The contract may be considered for extension for a further period based on the employee's performance, requirements, and project duration.
    3. The candidates engaged under this shall be on contract and shall not derive any right or claim to have a regular post/ appointment in C-DAC.
    4. C-DAC is involved in projects at various locations across India, hence a selected candidate may be deputed or transferred from one project to another as per organizational requirement at any project location across India.
  2. Qualification:
    1. For all the posts indicated, the candidates should have qualified from an AICTE/UGC-approved college/Institute or recognized University.
    2. In case any University/Institution or college is following an evaluation system of CGPA/DGPA/OGPA or letter grade, wherever applicable, it is mandatory for the candidate to submit proof of Percentage (%) issued by the university/Institution/College and awarded class along with the degree certificate.
  3. Experience:
    1. Candidate possessing relevant post-qualification experience, if sought for, only needs to apply.
    2. Academy/Teaching/Research work, experience in a non-profit organization, and internship/project work placements are part of the academic curriculum and will not be considered as experience unless specified.
    3. Candidate should possess experience certificates/documents issued by the previous and present employer clearly indicating period of employment, salary drawn and post held.
    4. The decision of C-DAC with respect to experience will be final. Work experience indicated without supporting documents will not be considered and is liable to be rejected/canceled without any prior intimation.
    5. The pay bracket provided against each position is for the starting pay for the min. experience required for the said post. Candidates with higher experience commensurate with the experience bracket given will be offered additional increments as per C-DAC Policy.
    6. C-DAC internal candidates need to complete at least 2 years' service in C-DAC as of date of notification, for applying to positions notified.
  4. Age limit and Relaxation:
    1. The Upper Age limit will be as specified against each post
    2. Applicants belonging to reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) / physically challenged/Ex-servicemen would be eligible for relaxations according to the ‘Government of India’ norms.
    3. Government employees on pay scale will be eligible for relaxation in age by 5 years including other age relaxations as applicable.
    4. The cut-off date for ascertaining the age and experience will be the date of walk-in interview.
    5. Candidates seeking age relaxation need to submit a copy of their caste certificate when called for document verification.
    6. SSLC/SSC/ISC mark sheet/ certificate and any other valid document will be considered as proof of date of birth.
    7. The Economically Weaker Section’s Certificate should be strictly in the format prescribed by DoPT. The format is available on the website www.persmin.nic.in
    8. The application of the candidates not meeting the prescribed age criteria will be rejected/canceled without any prior intimation.
    9. Candidates belonging to the OBC category (Non creamy layer) should produce the certificate issued in the prescribed format.
  5. Selection procedure:
    1. Candidate should meet the eligibility criteria as specified in the advertisement.
    2. The qualification and experience prescribed, are the minimum requirements and possession of the same does not automatically make the candidates entitled to be called for written test and/or selection processes.
    3. There will be an initial screening based on the academic records and other parameters declared in the online application and only screened-in candidates will be considered for further selection process.
    4. The management reserves the right to increase/alter the minimum eligibility criteria/cut-off limits, in the event that the number of applicants is more, for any post(s), at its discretion. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their academic credentials, experience profile, written test marks (if any), performance in the interview, and such other selection processes/parameters, as adopted and deemed fit by management.
    5. Mere application and fulfillment of the mentioned qualifications etc., does not entitle a candidate to be called for written/skill test/ interview. C-DAC may restrict the number of candidates to be called to participate in the interview/selection process to a reasonable limit, on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than that of the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. The candidates should, therefore, furnish all the qualifications and experience possessed in the relevant field, over and above the minimum qualifications prescribed.
    6. The selection process shall be carried out by the respective C-DAC Centre based on its requirements and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further process.
    7. All information submitted in the application will be verified with the original documents at the time of document verification or at any stage of the recruitment process. If any documents/information provided by the candidate is found to be false or incorrect or non-conformity with the eligibility criteria, then his/her candidature is liable to be rejected/cancelled at any stage of the recruitment and selection process without any prior intimation.
    8. The candidature is also liable for rejection at any stage if C-DAC comes across any evidence/knowledge that the qualification, experience and any other particulars indicated in the application/other forms/formats are not recognized/false misleading and/or amounts to suppression of information/particulars which should have been brought to the notice of C-DAC.

  8. How to apply:
    1. Before filling out the online application form, Candidates should read the General Terms and Conditions carefully.
    2. Candidate should read all the eligibility parameters and ensure that he/she is eligible for the post before starting to apply online.
    3. Candidate should have a valid email id and mobile no. which should remain valid & active till the completion of the selection process.
    4. Candidates are required to download the blank application form , fill it in and submit the copy to hr-cine@cdac.in along with their updated resume.Also, candidates are required to carry the duly filled application form affixed with latest passport size photograph, attested copies of documents such as proof of age, qualification, experience, caste, etc and reach the venue on the stipulated date. Candidates who register themselves at the venue between 9am to 12 noon will be allowed to attend the interview.
    5. Candidates should scan their photograph in .jpg format (not more than 400 KB) and keep it ready before starting to apply online for uploading.
    6. Candidate should upload their resume in PDF format (Not more than 500 KB)
    7. A unique application number will be generated by the system, please note this application number for future reference and use. Candidates can take a print of the application form and keep it with them for their records.
    8. No hard copy/printed applications should be sent to C-DAC. Incomplete and defectively filled online forms shall be rejected straightway and no subsequent correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
    9. Candidates working in Government/PSUs/Govt. Autonomous bodies should also apply via the same process in advance and print the application form, duly led and signed should be forwarded through the proper channel to HRD of C-DAC CINE.
    10. Those who are not forwarding their application through the proper channel are required to produce a 'No objection certificate (NOC)' from their current employer at the time of the interview, if called for, failing which they will not be permitted to attend the interview.
    11. Any dispute with regard to the selection/recruitment process will be subject to Courts/Tribunals having jurisdiction over Trivandrum, Kerela only.
  9. Important Notes:
    1. C-DAC reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or not to recruit against any post notified in this notification at its discretion without any notice/notification.
    2. It is the responsibility of the candidates to assess his/her own eligibility for the post for which he/she is applying in accordance with the advertisement. In case, it is found at any point of time in the future during the process of selection or even after the appointment that the candidate was not eligible as per the prescribed qualification, experience etc, which could not be found at the time of selection due to whatever circumstances, his/her candidature/appointment shall be liable to be canceled/terminated as case may be without giving any notice.
    3. Candidates who are applying for multiple posts should submit a separate application for each post.
    4. In case of ambiguity/dispute arises on account of interpretation in a version other than English, the English version will prevail.
