C-DAC, Chennai is looking for bright & result oriented professionals for various projects. The following positions are available purely on contract basis on consolidated emolument and the initial contract tenure for a period upto 02 (Two) years or co-terminus with the project whichever is earlier. However, the term of contract may be considered for extension for further period based on performance of the incumbent and requirement of the project.

Procedure for attending the Interview

1. Registration:

Candidates must register their candidature by filling the Google Form using the link provided below to attend the Walk-in Interview.

2. Application Form Submission:

Instruction to Candidates: -

  1. Before appearing for the Walk-in/Online interview the Candidates should read General Terms and Conditions carefully.
  2. If called, Candidates should bring the complete application form along with a latest photograph affixed on it, one page write up and one valid photo id proof having date of birth.
  3. Candidates should bring original certificates and a set of photocopy of the following documents at the time of Interview/ Certificate Verification/Joining:
    1. Qualification: Certificates & Mark sheets of 10th, 12th, Graduation, Post-Graduation, any other relevant qualification.
    2. Age Proof Document, ID Proof (PAN Card/ Aadhar Card)
    3. Experience Certificates starting from first to last Organization.
    4. Document proof for present employment. NOC from current employer (applicable for candidates working in Central/ State Govt. /PSUs /Govt. Autonomous bodies)
    5. Caste Certificates in case of SC/ST & Non- Creamy Layer for OBC

  4. Candidates who fail to submit any requisite document as mentioned above, his/her candidature/appointment shall be liable to be cancelled/terminated as the case may be.
  5. Candidates working in Central/ State Govt./ Autonomous Bodies/ PSUs are required to produce 'No Objection Certificate' from their parent organization.
  6. Candidates are advised not to carry your mobile/any such kind of gadgets during the course of interview.

General Terms and Conditions:

  1. All applicants must fulfil the essential requirements of the post and other conditions stipulated in the advertisement as on last date of registration. They are advised to satisfy themselves before appearing interview that they possess at least the essential qualifications laid down for the post as on last date of registration. No enquiry asking for advice as to eligibility will be entertained.
  2. Candidates in the last semester, who would complete the course before the appointment can also apply. However, if selected, the joining shall be after passing such examination with required min. score only.
  3. The candidates alone are responsible for the authenticity of information provided by them. Any wrong information provided will make them automatically disqualified for the interview, irrespective of their selection process.
  4. Candidates are required to appear for the interview at their own cost.
  5. C-DAC is involved in projects at various location across the India, hence a selected candidate may be deputed or transferred from one project to another as per organizational requirement at any project location across in India.
  6. Canvassing in any manner and bringing outside influence shall be a disqualification for selection.
  7. C-DAC reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or not to recruit against any post notified in this notification at its discretion without any notice/notification.

Reservations:

  1. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/EWSs will be applicable as per Govt. of India norms, as applicable to C-DAC.
  2. Candidates belonging to reserved categories should produce the original certificates at the time of certificate verification, if called for, issued by competent authority in the prescribed format as stipulated by DoPT Government of India, failing which such candidates will not be allowed to attend the selection process against reserved posts and will not be allowed to claim the benefits of reservation.
  3. In case of candidates belonging to OBC category, certificate in the format prescribed by Government of India which specifically contain the clause that the candidate does not belong to creamy layer section is required to be produced. The OBC candidates who belong to "CREAMY LAYER" are not entitled for OBC concession and such candidates have to indicate their category as "General/Unreserved".
  4. The candidates applying under PwD category are required to submit the Disability Certificate in the format prescribed by Government of India, Department of Personnel and Training vide OM No.36035/3/2004-Estt (Res) dated 29.12.2005 as amended from time to time. Candidates having disability of 40% or more only are eligible for reservation under PwD category.
  5. The candidates applying under Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) category are required to submit Income and Asset Certificate issued by a Competent Authority in the prescribed format as given in Annexure-I of DoPT OM No. 36039/1/2019-Estt (Res) dated 31st January 2019 as amended / modified from time to time.

Relaxation/ Age Limit:

  1. The date for determining the upper age limit, qualifications and experience shall be the last date of registration.
  2. SSLC/SSC/ISC mark sheet/certificate and any other valid document will be considered as proof of date of birth.
  3. The application of the candidates not meeting the prescribed age criteria will be rejected/cancelled without any prior intimation.
  4. Applicants belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS)/ PWD/ Ex-servicemen/ would be eligible for relaxations as per rules.
  5. Government employees will be eligible for relaxation in age by 5 years including other age relaxations as per rules.
  6. As per GOI provisions, age relaxation up to 05 years (including all other age relaxations) is applicable for Widows, Divorced Women and Women Judicially separated from Husbands who are not remarried. Candidates eligible for age relaxation under this category would be required to produce following documentary evidence:
    1. In case of Widow, Death Certificate of her husband together with the Affidavit that she has not remarried since.
    2. In case of divorced Women and Women judicially separated from their husbands, a certified copy of the judgment/decree of the appropriate court to prove the fact of divorce or the judicial separation, as the case may be, with an affidavit in respect of divorced women that they have not remarried since.
  7. Age relaxation to PwD category: Age relaxation as per Government of India instructions is allowed (including all other age relaxation in respect of the posts reserved for them) to blind, deaf-mute and orthopedically handicapped persons for appointment to Below Group 'A' posts/services. The persons claiming age relaxation under this category would be required to produce a certificate in prescribed proforma in support of their claims clearly indicating that the degree of physical disability is 40% or more. In any case, the appointment of these candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit in accordance with the standards of medical fitness as prescribed by the Government for the respective posts to be filled by Direct Recruitment by Selection.
  8. The Economically Weaker Sections' Certificate should be strictly in the format prescribed by DoPT. The format is available on the website www.persmin.nic.in.
  9. For Candidates claiming, SC/ST/OBC/PwD/EWS status, Original Caste Certificate/Valid OBC Non Creamy layer Certificate/Medical certificate/Income and Asset certificate as the case may be, from the Competent Authority in the format prescribed for Central Government Offices, need to submit at the time of Certificate verification/Joining.

Qualification:

  1. In respect of equivalent clause in essential qualifications, submission of equivalency certificate duly authenticated by the appropriate authority is mandatory at the time of Certificate verification/Joining and the onus for submitting the same purely rests upon the candidates, failing which the application is liable to be rejected.
  2. Wherever CGPA/OGPA or letter grade in a qualifying degree is awarded, equivalent percentage of marks should be indicated in the application form as per norms adopted by the respective University/Institute. Please also obtain a certificate to this effect from University / Institute, which shall be required at the time of Certificate verification/Joining.

Experience:

  1. Only those experiences which are relevant and acquired after the passing date of the qualifying qualification will be considered. The decision of C-DAC in this regard will be final and binding.
  2. Academy/Teaching/Research work, experience in non-profit organization, internship/project work placements are part of academic curriculum and will not be considered as experience, unless specified.
  3. The period of experience rendered by a candidate on part time basis, daily wages, visiting/ guest faculty / trainee / intern will not be counted while calculating the valid experience.
  4. Candidate should possess experience certificates/documents issued by the previous and present employer clearly indicating period of employment, salary drawn and post held.
  5. The decision of C-DAC with respect to experience will be final. Work experience indicated without supporting documents will not be considered and is liable to be rejected/cancelled without any prior intimation.
  6. The consolidated salary mentioned is for the starting pay for the minimum experience required for the said post. Candidates with higher experience commensurate with the experience bracket given shall be offered additional increment as per C-DAC policy.
  7. Years of experience, over and above the maximum range notified in the advertisement, will not be considered for calculating higher pay.

Important points to note

  1. It is the responsibility of the candidates to assess his/her own eligibility for the post for which he/she is attending in accordance with the advertisement. In case, it is found at any point of time in future during the process of selection or even after appointment that the candidate was not eligible as per prescribed qualification, experience etc., which could not be detected at the time of selection due to whatever circumstances, his/her candidature/appointment shall be liable to be cancelled/terminated as the case may be.
  2. Selected candidates will be eligible to apply for different / higher posts, on contract on consolidated pay basis, against internal notifications issued from time to time, as per CDAC policy.
  3. In case of internal candidates, please note that, selected candidates will have to resign from the existing services in order to join the post as fresh employees.

  5. Candidates must be in sound health and ready to undergo Pre- Employment Medical Examination as per C-DAC norms.
  6. At the time of Certificate Verification/Joining they should bring original certificates of qualifications and experience and a self-attested photocopy of the same. SC / ST/ OBC/EWS candidates should submit necessary certificates issued by competent authority in the prescribed format as stipulated by Government of India amended from time to time, failing which he/she will not be allowed to claim the relaxations applicable in case of reservation.
  7. In case any ambiguity/dispute arises on account of interpretation of version other than English, English version will prevail.
  8. Kindly note that the Centre has not authorized any agent/ agency for representing C-DAC for anything related to recruitment or its processes.
  9. All the posts will be filled as per the Recruitment Rules or guidelines of C-DAC.
  10. The person selected for contract appointment will not have any claim or right for his/her continuity in service, regularization or automatic extension of the term of contract.
  11. These posts are transferable from one project to another.
  12. No interim enquiry or correspondence will be entertained.
