A major milestone for India's linguistic empowerment! The new Indian Languages Division aims to reduce the influence of foreign languages in administration. This initiative, powered by a crucial partnership with C-DAC, will create a strong, organized platform for all Indian languages, embracing our nation's incredible diversity. C-DAC's development of Kanthasth 3.0 Bahubhashi - a cutting-edge multilingual translation software - is central to elevating India's languages on the global stage.

Kanthasth 3.0 Bahubhashi is designed to bridge the gap between Hindi and 15 Indian languages listed in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution, representing the first languages of various states and Union Territories. It helps in promoting regional language usage and preserving India's linguistic heritage. The project is led by Dr. Shashi Pal Singh, Scientist F & Project Director, C-DAC, Pune, in collaboration with the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). This initiative aligns with Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi's vision of fostering better coordination between Hindi and other Indian languages.
