The USBRMS (Ultrasonic Solid-propellant Burning Rate Measurement System) Electronic Unit is an ultrasonic pulse-echo device for the measurement of burning rate of solid propellant specimen of rocket motors. The system works on the principle of ultrasonic technique by repeatedly measuring the thickness of a burning propellant specimen. User can measure the burn rate of different solid propellant samples using USBRMS and can predict the performance of solid propellant motors used in space flights. It consisting of modules for activation, control, and data acquisition of ultrasonic channel as well as the pressure channel. An enclosure is designed for housing the electronics to protect the electronic modules from various environmental conditions. It is designed with table top form factor and is compatible for easy operation by users.
Congratulations to all inventors!
