C-DAC successfully organized the 7th National Seminar on E-Learning & E-Learning Technologies (ELELTECH India 2025) on December 29th, 2025, in virtual mode. The seminar brought together eminent experts from government, academia, industry, and research institutions, with participation from over 250 delegates across the country.
The seminar was themed "Transforming E-Learning through AI, Blockchain and Secure Digital Ecosystems" and commenced with a welcome address by Dr. P. R. Lakshmi Eswari, Scientist G & Centre Head, C-DAC Hyderabad, followed by the presidential address by Shri E. Magesh, Director General, C-DAC. The inaugural address was delivered by Ms. Tulika Pandey, Scientist G & Group Coordinator, MeitY, Government of India, highlighting national priorities in digital education.
The event featured an insightful keynote address by Prof. Mangala Sunder Krishnan, Professor Emeritus, IIT Madras, focusing on AI and digital learning ecosystems. The vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs. B. Vijaya Lakshmi, Scientist G, C-DAC.
Dr. N. Sarat Chandra Babu, Former Executive Director, SETS Chennai (under the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India), delivered a talk on “Opportunities and Challenges in Using Emerging Technologies for e-Learning.” Dr. M. Sasi Kumar, Former Executive Director, C-DAC Mumbai, delivered a talk on "Can AI Enhance the TLP? Some Considerations." Other technical sessions throughout the day covered diverse and contemporary themes including:
- Mass customization in education
- iGOTKarmayogi and large-scale capacity building
- Cybersecurity and blockchain for credentialing and learner data integrity
- Assistive technologies to enable inclusive education for persons with disabilities
- Capacity building initiatives in policing
- Standardization frameworks for e-learning
- C-DAC initiatives such as MeghSikshak, ISEA Virtual Platform, GLAMS &LearnDex
- Digital learning applications in healthcare delivery
The seminar concluded with a summary of key discussion points and concluding remarks delivered by Dr. S. V. Srikanth, Scientist F, C-DAC, acknowledging the valuable contributions of all speakers, organizers, and participants.
ELELTECH India 2025 served as an important knowledge-sharing platform and reaffirmed C-DAC's commitment to advancing secure, inclusive, and technology-driven digital learning ecosystems in alignment with national missions.
