MoA Signed with the National Cultural Audiovisual Archives

A Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed between C-DAC, Pune, and IGNCA, New Delhi for software development, technical support, and data processing for the National Cultural Audiovisual Archives (NCAA)Digitalaya and Portal. This two-year collaboration will focus on upgrading the platform and managing its valuable audio and video content.The agreement was signed by Shri. Sanjay Wandhekar, Center Head, C-DAC Pune, and Shri. Pratapanand Jha Project Director IGNCA, New Delhi.

The National Cultural Audiovisual Archives (NCAA) Digitalaya Repository and Portal is developed by HCDC group, C-DAC, Pune in collaboration with the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), New Delhi. The National Cultural Audiovisual Archives (NCAA) seeks to ensure long-term access to India's rich oral traditions, performing arts, rituals, cultural practices, and traditional knowledge systems in audiovisual form. The portal is available for public access at https://www.ncaa.gov.in

Shri. Srinu Naik, Scientist E, is leading the management of NCAA digital repository activities along with significant technical contributions from Senior Project Engineers Shri. Ritesh Malviya, Shri. Saurabh Koriya, and Project Engineers Ms. Samrudhi Gadadare, Ms. Neelima Bodkhe, Shri. Manhar and Shri. Akshay Kalyankar.
