The PgMumbai Conference, held on November20th, 2025 at Google-Mumbai, featured a technical session by C-DAC Mumbai on "Enterprise-Scale Deployment of PostgreSQL for Microservice Architecture: A case study of an Insurance Service Provider in the Public Sector," presented by Aniket Jadhav, Module Leader, and Rushikesh Ghantewar, Senior Project Engineer.

The conference received more than 25 submissions, of which only five talks were selected. Speakers came from leading organizations such as C-DAC, Amazon, Google, and OpenSourceDB. C-DAC's presentation stood out for showcasing a large-scale, end-to-end database implementation and migration built entirely on community-edition PostgreSQL, demonstrating how complex enterprise workloads can be executed effectively without relying on proprietary tools.

The session drew strong engagement and appreciation from the audience, who showed particular interest in the scale, complexity, and architectural depth achieved using purely open-source technologies.

Rajeev Srivastava, Scientist E, Vishal Dewarde, Senior Project Engineer and Shubhangi Jadhav, Senior Project Engineer, were also present and addressed several advanced database implementation and migration queries during the interaction.
