C-DAC Mumbais Online Workshops: Parikshak and NBF LITE

C-DAC Mumbai recently hosted online workshops on May 27th and 28th, 2025, highlighting two of its cutting-edge tools: Parikshak and NBF LITE (Lightweight Blockchain Framework). These powerful tools are designed to benefit educators, developers, researchers, and various industries.

The speaker for the Parikshak session was Shri. Chandrashekhar, Scientist E, who provided an overview of the tool's features. He demonstrated how teachers can create, edit, view, and process exam results, while also showcasing functionalities available to students, such as attempting exams, creating their own tests, and viewing results using the software. The session was attended by many participants from various universities, colleges, and institutes.

The session on NBF-LITE was conducted by Ms. Nirmala Salam, Scientist F, who delivered an introductory presentation highlighting the features and applications of the platform. She also showcased various use cases of blockchain technology developed by C-DAC. The interactive session was attended by many participants from academia and industry.

Dr. Padmaja Joshi, Scientist G, provided an overview of both these solutions. She also highlighted how NBF Lite can be useful in the creation of Centre of Excellence labs in academics and in building blockchain development skills in students and aspiring developers. NBF Lite is a part of National Blockchain Framework and is developed jointly by C-DAC Mumbai and Hyderabad centres.
