Strengthening Global Skills in Cloud Computing

C-DAC, Noida successfully conducted two weeksSpecialised Programme on Cloud Computing from July 22ndto4th August, 2026).30 participants from 25 countries -Cambodia, Cuba, Ecuador, Ghana, Grenada, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kingdom of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland), Lebanon, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Oman, Panama, Peru, Sri Lanka, Syria, Tanzania, Timor Leste, Trinidad &Tobago, Tunisia, Uzbekistan and Vietnamattended the programmeunder the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme(ITEC) of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

The Cloud Computing programme was designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of modern cloud technologies and virtualization platforms. The curriculum included hands-on training in VMware, Ubuntu, Proxmox and Amazon Web Services (AWS), equipping participants with practical skills in cloud infrastructure deployment, virtualization, system administration and cloud service management. Through lectures, demonstrations and lab sessions, participants gained valuable knowledge of industry-standard tools and best practices in cloud computing.

As part of the programme, the participants also visited the C-DAC Noida Data Centre, where they gained an insight into various data centre operations and the services being delivered. It provided participants with an opportunity to relate the concepts covered during the training to real-world cloud and data centre environments.

A valedictory ceremony was held August 4th, 2026, at C-DAC Noida to mark the completion of a successful journey of the hardwork of the participants, teachers and other staff members. All participants from different countries actively participated in this ceremony.

Shri Vivek Khaneja, Executive Director, C-DAC Noida, Shri V.K. Sharma, Scientist G & GC, C-DAC Noida and Shri Navneet Jain, Scientist G&Programme Coordinator, C-DAC Noida along with other faculty members were present during the valedictory function.

Shri Navneet Jain welcomed the members and briefed the gathering about the training programme. Shri Vivek Khaneja interacted with participants and took the feedback of the training programme. Participants appreciated the training programme in respect of the content, delivery and presentations of all the topics covered during the programme. They also appreciated their study visits.

At the end of valedictory function, participants were awarded the Certificate and Mementoes.
