C-DAC Hyderabad and IIT Bhilai India, successfully organized the National Seminar on "Secure Software Development Lifecycle Practices - Towards Building Software with Security by Design Thinking" in association with GITAM (Deemed to be University), Visakhapatnam on December30th, 2025 at Visakhapatnam. The seminar was supported by Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.

Dr. K Naveen, GITAM University, welcomed the participants. Dr. P R Lakshmi Eswari delivered theme address and has set the context of the seminar. Smt. Savita Utreja, Scientist G & Group Coordinator, MeitY, GoIdelivered the inaugural address. She highlighted the importance of adhering to Secure Software Development Life Cycle Practices. Prof. Sandeep Kumar Shukla, Director, IIIT Hyderabad delivered a keynote address on importance of Security in Software Supply Chain Management.Prof. Y. Gouthama Rao, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. S. Arun Kumar, Dean, GSCSE, and Prof. K. Thirupathi Rao, Director, GSCSE, GITAM and Dr. K. Naveen Kumar, Convener and HoD (AI & DS), GITAM expressed their appreciation in organizing the seminar at their premises by C-DAC and IIT Bhilai. Shri. N. Satyanarayana delivered vote of thanks on behalf of the organizing committee and thanked the experts for sharing their invaluable insights on this occasion.

Dr. Amit Kumar Dhar, Associate Professor, IIT Bhilai delivered a talk on Data Privacy and Techniques & Secure Software Lifecycle Practices Professional Certification. Shri. N. Satyanarayana, Scientist E, C-DAC Hyderabad delivered a talk on Writing Secure Code & Standards Overview and GenAI for Software Development and its Implications.
