e-BIS Project featured in the DARPG MGMG Magazine

The "e-BIS" platform-an integrated solution offering multiple services of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), developed and implemented by the e-Governance group of C-DAC Noida-has been featured in the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG) journal Minimum Government - Maximum Governance (MGMG) for the July-December 2025 edition.

The MGMG journal serves as a national platform that showcases impactful governance reforms, innovative e-Governance initiatives, and best practices from across the country, aligned with the vision of efficient, transparent, and citizen-centric administration. Being featured in this journal reflects the relevance, quality, and effectiveness of e-BIS project. Journal not only highlights the contribution to strengthening governance frameworks but also provides an opportunity for knowledge sharing and replication of successful models at a wider scale, reinforcing the commitment to the principles of "Minimum Government, Maximum Governance."

e-BIS an integrated portal for all Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Services is a one-stop portal for all services related to standards, conformity assessment, and quality assurance in India. This portal provides a variety of services, includinginformation on Indian standards, conformity assessment services, training and capacity building, consumer engagement, Hallmark Unique Identification (HUID), jeweller hallmarking, mobile based surveillance etc. e-BIS enables enhanced security, convenience and efficiency, improved scalability, wider customer reach, reduced operational costs, improved data and analytics, streamlined compliance.
