The scope of the project is design, development, implementation and maintenance support of web-based drawing approval system (DAS). The proposed software accepts the designed AutoCAD drawing and converts it into PDF. This file is then sent to various stakeholders in the workflow for comments and approval. The drawing moves in a pre-defined workflow and all the comments of the reviewers are received by the creator of the drawing. After compliance at the division level, the process is repeated at the headquarters level for approvals and signatures and finally the drawing is released.
