Modified Special Incentive Package Scheme is an initiative for the development of the electronics sector in the country to cater to the domestic Indian demand as well as act as an exports hub. MSIPS, is one of the largest schemes under the Narendra Modi Government to attract foreign investment and turn India into an electronic manufacturing hub for everything from mobile chargers to medical devices. The scheme includes a subsidy for capital expenditure, 20% of capital for industries in SEZ zones and 25% in non-SEZ Zones. The scheme beneficiaries are investors and manufacturers of electronic goods.

The e-MSIPS is an end-to-end online workflow management system, enabling ease of business with unified access to all including electronic services. This single window system provides greater outreach of information, therefore ensuring transparency, reliability and sustainability. The portal supports complete workflow automation which includes application submission, Preliminary Scrutiny and evaluation of applications, granting approvals, submission of claims and its verification. The payments are digital, applications have embedded digital signatures. System supports 3rd party assessment of applications, technical and administrative recommendations, Claim Submission, Verification and Monitoring the progress of approved applications.

This single window system provides greater outreach of information. Therefore ensuring transparency, reliability and sustainability.

This portal is accessible 24 x 7 anytime from anywhere, equipped with interactive user interfaces and well-informed dashboards.

• The e-MSIPS portal is a delight for its users. The portal provides a central resource hub for users to easily access via self-service functionality. e-MSIPS has centralized access to documents and information and quick content search and authorization ability.
• Interactive dashboards, integrated communication model for interacting with pears, automated alerts, MIS reports are some of its features. It also gives increased security by providing a single sign-on for all business applications.
•  e-Msips also provide support for web service and service-oriented architecture (SOA) integrations.
• The portal is SSL enabled and Safe-To-Host Certified; System is checked against security threats and timely upgrades are done. System has been safeguarded against various Vulnerabilities like Cross Site Scripting (XSS) , Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF), SQL/HTML Injections. Security has been given the first priority and thus numerous steps have been taken to ensure that the portal is absolutely safe to Host.
• The data is stored at our in-house data center. It is an ISO certified data center that hosts many of the government projects that have sensitive information. Its firewall and data protection policies ensure the confidentiality and the integrity of the data in the web application.
