1. General : Terms and Conditions (Full time Consultant):

• The consultant shall perform services as assigned by the administrative authorities.
• The consultant may be required to provide services on holidays or beyond working hours, for which no compensatory leave or additional compensation will be granted.
• The consultant shall not be entitled to any kind of allowance or accommodation facility, such as Dearness Allowance, Conveyance Allowance, Transport Facility, Residential Accommodation, Personal Staff, CGHS, or Medical Reimbursement. In exceptional cases, transport facility may be provided to full-time consultants; however, this will be the part of monthly consultant’s fees, and shall not be paid separately as additional allowance.
• Upon selection, consultants engaged will be eligible for TA/DA on official tours, which will be regulated as per Level-12 employee entitlements.
• The engagement period for the Full time Consultant would be initially for a period of 15 months. This period may be extended or curtailed subject to review, on the basis of performance and at the sole discretion of C-DAC.
• Full-time consultants will be allowed 1.5 days leave for each completed month of service. No remuneration will be paid for absence beyond the admissible leave. Leave cannot be accumulated beyond a calendar year nor encashed. Leave exceeding three days in a single spell shall not be allowed.
• The engagement of consultants can be terminated by C-DAC at any time without assigning any reason or notice, however in the normal course, it can be terminated by providing 15 days’ notice in writing from either side. Incase of shortfall in notice period, C-DAC at its discretion may permit Full time Consultant to make up the shortfall by paying an amount equal to the professional fees in lieu of the shortfall or by adjusting the available leave. In case of no leave the consultant needs to pay proportionate amount.
• C-DAC reserves the right to review and examine the services provided by the consultant at any time.
• The above-mentioned position is for a fixed duration and relates to ongoing business projects.
• Full-time consultants will not be permitted to take up any other assignments during the period of their consultancy with C-DAC.
• Consultants shall sign an agreement of confidentiality with C-DAC containing clauses on Ethics and Integrity.
• No Employment Rights: Engagement as a consultant does not confer any right to claim temporary or permanent employment with C-DAC. The appointment is temporary (non-permanent) and against specific jobs. C-DAC can cancel the appointment at any time without assigning a reason.
• All remuneration is inclusive of applicable taxes.
• Engaged Consultant is required to submit work report every month, continue contributing in the activities w.r.t deliverables including the post-delivery support/corrections/modifications etc., failing which further payment will be withheld. Also, he/she has to raise invoice on C-DAC for the agreed fees and provide the bank details.

2. General : Terms and Conditions (Part-time Consultant):

• The consultant fee for part-time engagement will be fixed on a per-visit, per-day basis depending on the project requirements and the consultant’s experience/expertise. The consultant fee for part-time engagement will be restricted to a maximum of 15 days in a month.
• Upon selection, consultants engaged will be eligible for TA/DA on official tours, which will be regulated as per Level-12 employee entitlements.
• The engagement period for the Part-Time Consultant would be initially for a period of 15 months. This period may be extended or curtailed subject to review, on the basis of performance and at the sole discretion of C-DAC.
• Part-time consultants shall not be eligible for any kind of leave.
• Part-time consultant shall be appointed subject to the condition that they face no conflict of interest with respect to the work they are handling in C-DAC
• The engagement of consultants can be terminated by C-DAC at any time without assigning any reason or notice, however in the normal course, it can be terminated by providing 15 days’ notice in writing from either side. Incase of shortfall in notice period, C-DAC at its discretion may permit Part-time Consultant to make up the shortfall by paying an amount equal to the professional fees in lieu of the shortfall.

General Conditions for Walk In interview:

Applicants are required to  click here to download the blank application form and carry the duly filled application form affixed with latest passport size photograph, attested copies of documents such as proof of age, qualification, experience, caste, etc and reach the venue on the stipulated date. Candidates who register themselves at the venue between 10 AM to 12 noon will be allowed to attend the interview.

Screening cum Selection Criteria:

• Upon Screening the Selection will be based on interview/s to be conducted by C-DAC, Chennai
• Candidates fitting all qualifying criteria of qualification, age and experience will only be eligible for requirement.
• Final selection will be based on verification of information declared by applicant in his/her application, with the original documents.
• The offer will be withdrawn (even after joining) if any of the information declared by incumbent is found to be false or misguiding.

Important Points to Note:

• Applicants will be screened and interviewed commencing 10:00 am. No new applications will be accepted after 12:00 noon on the interview date.
• Applicants eligible as per the recruitment criteria w.r.t. qualification, age, experience will only be considered for Walk in Interviews others, non-eligible applicants will not be considered for interviews.
• Applicants should read all the eligibility parameters and ensure that he/she is eligible for the post before appearing for the walk - in interview. Screening will be done prior to interview process.
• Applicant should have a valid email id and mobile no. which should remain valid & active till the completion of selection process.

The cut-off date for ascertaining the age and experience will be the Date of Walk-In Interview i.e. 12 Dec 2025 Applicants for interview will be required to submit the following documents while reporting for the Walk In interview.

1. Attached Application with hard copy of the resume, passport size photograph, and photocopies & original of all the educational qualification/experience/ age proof documents.
2. At the time of interview, Applicants working in Government / PSUs/ autonomous bodies have to submit NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the present employer.
3. No interim correspondence for employment will be entertained.
4. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
5. C-DAC reserves the right to fill up / hold the requirements or increase/decrease the number of requirements or even to cancel the whole process of recruitment without assigning any reason thereof.
